Ditching my old Deck, wondering about a clean layout

If you have an Ipod or plan to get one, get a system that is setup for an Ipod. I don't even have a compatible Ipod for my deck (nano) but it's nice to know I can. If you can shell out money for something with DVD, it will almost definitely have a rear mounted aux in. Then narrow it down to a unit with USB on the back with a cable. I have to say, even though every phone has Navigation, I love my in dash and am glad I spent the money on it. The only issue is that half the businesses around me have shut down on the maps I have lol.

A in dash with the huge screen is a no go for me. Its bad enough Hondas are a prime target for burglars i dont want to entice them more nomsayin

As far as a double din go how is the spacing made up? So you have the deck and then two dins under it? seems like a big hole needed, no?

i love my pioneer 7200hd.. has usb up front and bluetooth also big bonus is it has 4 volt outputs.. eq is perfect.. best part is if a crook looks at it they will think it is just a bobo cd player......

If you're just looking for a straight up ipod set up like I was, then check out the crutchfield aux input for our stock radios.

I didn't wanna spend alotta cash on a in-dash screen either.. and Im sketch about thieves also...soo uhh yeah i got mine for around 50 bucks last month. Works great, still have cd functionality, and i can talk through my speakers with my iphone with no issues.

if you dont use cds at all check out alpines line up they got a full line of decks that are ipod only and look pretty good, i personally have the alpine w-407 and love it its ipod only so when my friends get in my car with the new wayne cd they cant play it in my car haha its got built in bluetooth, nice big 7in touch screen you can expand it with satellite radio nav and back up camera, only thing is they dont sell the 407 any more due to a problem with the clock on the nav system...... thank got us 6th gens have stand alone clocks lol. check out there regular ipod only decks though there not to expensive either and work really well
