not for coupes, with gear type instead, well they're fairly similar.

you basically start by removing junk from the door


then door stuff, like screws, door handles, pulls, etc..






then panel & metal thing


rehookup window switch & drop window to where you can reach bolts





and lock window


unhook from reg, unbolt reg from window & door


remove

re-install, here I'm missing pics, I ordered the right reg, got the left, busted heads together, got **** done. Window's quiet now, well it was before, but now it goes down AND up AND quietly. OPEN BOX FIRST!!!!

reassembly, reverse (mostly)
DUCT TAPE handy man's secret weapon.


next project, 'DIY: chassis ear' which is clip on microphones to find what is making noises, using this:

Total ~$25 in parts vs the ~$150 tool.

I've learned not to remove the bottom 2 bolts on the window. If they're loosened it makes reassembly to the regulator guide a lot easier.
