run the blades over a pair of jeans (blades facing down while you push the razor upwards) its does a great job of sharpening the blades and removing any buildup, that should help you double the life of your razors Alex
So...I gave this a whirl. Lol. Got the Executive. Handle is nice and has some weight to it. Blades are nice. I don't need to shave often so I haven't had he chance to use it more than a time or two. There is an "every other" option where they won't send you blades ever month but every other month. I'll report back after a few more uses, lol.
Update.... I shave so little that even with the every-other option, I'm stocking up on razors. Lol. Means I can pretty much use a new every time. Which I guess is nice. They send a monthly booklet out with each shipment so it's nice to have a little sometime extra. All-in-all, Id say it's worth the $9 every other month.
This is my shave kit. Can't beat a DE razor and Italian soap. Takes a bit longer but worth the wait!!! Btw...my DE blades are $.10 per blade and I get 5-6 shaves out of one!!
