i have one... it works well at first and for a while.... yet im debating on taking it out because i think its causing surges in my car... the wires are good but i think its the plate connected to the battery... mines started to discolor.... my advice spend the extra cash on a buddyclub grounding kit...

Red is Power. Connecting Power to Engine Block, Chassis = Big Short 
Just go to your local car audio place and pick up a few feet of 4ga black wire, with some terminal connectors.
It will cost you max... 10$.
As for the battery post color... your battery is probably leaking, and it is eating the connections. I've had mine on for 3 years, white grease on them, no problems.

in all honesty you dont need a grounding kit you dont gain hp or pretty much anything its a proven fact youre going to end up waisting money i went to wyotech for automotive so i know what im talkjing about
