ecu v6 question

Just wondering since I have a 2002 v6 ECU Laying around would it be compatible with a 98 v6 and if so is there any benefits to the swap?

from my knowledge, there are no differences between the 2... i dun think any changes were made between the 98-00 and the 01-02 other than cosmetic ones

98-99 v6's have cap/rotor spark combo. 00-02 v6's have coil packs. So I'd recommend not swapping it. Not sure if anything would go wrong but I'd advised not to until told otherwise.
