So after my 2 prior 6GAs and my CLS, I'm back in the 6GA game. I have a 2000 LX coupe 5MT F23A1.
Car won't rev past 5800-6000. Sluggish wrap too, like its pulling an anchor. Feels like a fuel cut. Idles fine. Threw a P1399 random cylinder misfire (generic code). I've done a lot. Replaced my plugs, dizzy, valves adjusted, cleaned EGR itself (not inside intake manifold yet). I've stumped 6 shops including an actual Honda dealership. I don't get it. I need help.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue, and if so, what have you done to fix it?
I gutted my cat, that helped quite a bit on acceleration. But still not performing like an F23 should. It's at maybe 75% power, and won't rev out.
Disregarding the cel for O2 sensor cause my cat is gutted. Yes, CEL works. Dealership put a scanner on it and other than O2, threw no codes. Someone please have some insight. Please. I'm begging.
