So my parents got me a D3000 for Christmas. I've taken about 75 pictures with it so far, been a good learning experience. These are some of the better ones of the group.

I need to figure out more interesting things to shoot. lol. I'd appreciate any C&C

Thanks guys :) I like the first pic as well, I think I like the 2nd the best though personally. I had tried to get a few cool pictures while me and some friends were skeet shooting, but I failed at trying to get any real motion blur in the pictures lol and the sun was in front of us and made the top-left corner of every picture pretty blown out, no matter how much I tried to point away. Sooo any tips for that stuff I'd appreciate

Thanks Roy, yeah it is. I have used dslr's before (have borrowed my mom's lol) but never had anything other than a P&S for myself.

I like it. I don't have much hands-on with all the different options out there, but this one is comfortable to me and the controls seem easy to use. I can't speak about accessories because I've never really used any other than a larger flash. In a few years and after a lot of practice it could be fun to upgrade to one of the ones that now do HD video as well, but for my first dslr I'm very happy. I much prefer it to the D60's & D70s I've used.
