First Travel In A While

Hey guys, I just got my 6th gen in September, the rebuild will be my 21st birthday gift to myself. I want to drive it to New Orleans from Memphis. This will be the first it's been driving that far in about 8 years. What should I check before I try to make that trip? Any suggestions on who I should take it to to have it checked?

Good check list would be:
All fluid levels and conditions
Tire pressure and thread depth/condition also if you have a spare tire make sure the psi is good and you have your jack and lug wrench. Nothing worse than to change a flat than with another flat lol.
Engine air filter
General check of your engine bay for leaks, cracked rubber hoses, anything that looks abnormal.
Underneath check of your suspension, exhaust, and brakes.

Check condition of belts. No cracks.
