i didnt really know how to title this with out putting a long *** question.. so that ^ had to do..

what im really trying to say is im thinking of swapping engines in the far/not too near future...

but im working on my suspension right now.. am i going to have to change out what i buy now for "manual" compatable parts later on? ie. sway bars/ struts

the reason why im asking this is i was looking at a sway bar thread n it gave me a link for the ACURA TL sway bars... i clicked and it gave me a manual and automatic choice of parts

im a NOOB.. so id appreciate it if you didnt reply with slick remarks.. im on a short temper as it is (im deployed) i dont want to take it out on my computer... its hard to come buy reasonable priced computers in Iraq

Manual tl bar should be thicker than the auto bc the manual is the type s. When I went from auto to manual my tl rear sway bar switched over no problem. Your struts/ suspension setup should not be affected. Mine was compatible with the manual stuff just like it was with my car being auto.

Now if u run the 3.2 engine +6spd u should be fine bc they use pretty exact same parts except can, runners, fuel, IM.
Also the 3.5 engine swap you can take a look into. I'm pretty sure your suspension can be swapped over however there's a ton of other work needed start with Odyssey block and start from scratch

Thank you for your service

Check over at v6performance.net also. You can see all types of engine build / swaps. V6p is a lot more performance oriented than here. I am 99% sure if you swap engines the suspension components are still compatable but I'd research more.

b3a0s5e, when comparing suspension parts manual vs automatic should fit the same usually. Ie. if you buy coil-overs for an automatic 4dr, itll still fit in a manual 4dr as only thing that changed is the engine not the chassis or etc.

So you can go crazy with the strutbars, coilovers, swaybars, lower tie bars, end links, camber kits and they'll all still work fine IF you do a manual swap.

As for the TL sway bar you can order from
http://www.hondacuraplanet.com/mm5/...Code=HAP&Product_Code=TLSWAY&Category_Code=SP
The above includes the bar, bushings, brackets...you might need end-links as yours might be seized and you'll have to cut them off. You can opt for either moog or oem.
Moog are thicker, can be regreassed and are beefier and my only pet peeve with them is that the rubber isn't sealed on the endlink so stretch them enough and dirt can get inside the ball and joint.

Oem arent as thick but they are sealed.

The direct website of the dealer from the posted above is OEMACURAPARTS, you can also order parts directly from there but the sway bar total if ordered directly is 1$ more then from the link TIM posted on here awhile ago(mentioned above)
