fuel pump

Hey guys,

I recenetly replaced my fuel pump with a scrap yard one. I've now noticed my gauge being kind of off or my mileage being off. It seems to drop fairly quickly. This morning I filled up to full for the first time and it dropped to empty, then slowly creped up then went back to empty, then really slowly went back up. Has anyone ever experienced this? Thanks

Did you ever change the float assembly? Or just the pump?

i actually ended up changing the whole assembly as i messed up mine when i took it out.

I believe with the problem i was experiencing, the pump was calibrating itself. Ive just done half a tank and it seems to be normal again. Will keep you guys posted.
