thats why you see more V8's running supercharged because they have more low end torque on the crank where the belt of the supercharger is most likely attached to.

exactly, they have a little power to spare, so its ok. But a twin turbo v8 will destroy any supercharged v8 out there, no question.

what every1 said...

and plus its illegal to modify the firewall.. the moment you do that and get caught witha cut, or banged back firewall, you might get ur registration taken because its illegal to modify the firewall on a car (unless its a home built car of course)

my buddy has a s13 nissan 240 [first car in my album] ... it made 410whp on Fullrace gt3071r twin scroll with a slipping clutch, pump gas, and a ****ty tune ... my brother on the other hand [before he cracked the block] had a vortech supercharger in his ls1 camaro ss pushing out about 575whp ... in my opinion and from my experience let me tell you, boost from a turbo is so much harder and more fun than boost from a s/c ... sure the power to weight ratio differs between them since the s13 is wayyyy lighter ... anyway everybody loves turbo boost, just ask kit from knight rider ... well i feel like i'm just blabbing now so ill stop now :p

I simply like s/c's. and since the JR S/C is carb exempt, and my local state reff said its ok to put it in the accord i thought it would be legit. but after hearing moding the firewall is also illegal im screwd. i just want a sweat daily, thats street legal. I also like being diffrent from the rest and never seen it. ima see wat i can come up with. if they come our w/ carb turbo for h22 let me know. thanks for all the info.

It won't fit as said (even aftermarket intake manifolds don't really fit), it should be legal. In Cali, the part doesn't have to be CARB legal for the car, just the engine. Swap the engine and you can put any carb legal part for that engine on.
