Hello!! Never been here before, as I am not a Honda owner but last weekend I was wrenching on one. My friends 2001 Accord EX 3.0 needed a rear brake job. Rotors, calipers and pads. I told him I could do it, which is true. I have done that job several times, but this one has me stymied. The replacement rotors, Wearever from Carquest, are too small to fit over the wheel hubs by about a 1/4". Has anyone run into this? I went back to Advance that day trying to find a compatible rotor, but most of the Honda rotors were the same size. I don't know if the rear wheel bearings were replaced at some point with a different size hub or if I am missing something about this model of Accord. I put the existing rotors back on, fitted new calipers and pads no problem. I told him I would keep looking for a solution, hence my post here. Thanks in advance for any insight to this head scratcher.

I did a search on the Advance Auto website, all they carry are that Carquest brand. The reviews stated the same thing: didn't fit due to an undersized hub opening. Some of those reviews are 7 years old and here you are today with the same problem. Interesting.

I would suggest the NAPA parts store. Their PROFORMER brand is decent and they also carry Brembo. I know darn well the Brembo brand will fit.

** Take the old rotor with you this time for comparison. It may be possible the rear hubs have been changed to something different but...doubt it.

Let us know how it turns out if you would please.

Awesome, thanks a bunch. I'll head to NAPA and see what they've got. Unfortunately, the old one went back on the car but I've still got the Wearever in my car with me today.
