Haven't been on here lately, but I figure that I would share some pictures with you guys.

I gave the car community in my local area a chance to get picture of their rides taken. The population in Kodiak Alaska is less than 7000 people. There are plenty of photographers, but they all are landscapers or family portraits. There are plenty of nice rides, but most of them never had the opportunity of getting their rides taken with a decent DSLR.

Here's what I put on local group page.

I got 4 inquires within 12 hours. 2 more the next day.

Here are some pictures got so far, still have 3 more guys in the next 3 days.

Will update with more pictures once I get everyone by the end of this month.

Excuse the FB quality uploads, didn't want to upload through flickr with 10MB+ file size photos.

Good to hear from you Steven! Pics look good, but I'm sure it's easy to find nice backdrops out there with all that natural beauty.

The s2K side shot is my favorite, too bad the light wasn't on the other side to make the car stand out more. Still works though, maybe just edit out the lens flare.

nice work. the second photo is underexposed but it's still good

Thanks! Was a 25 seconds exposure at f11, didn't realize it would still stay this dark. Just brought up some shadows and enhanced the clarity in hopes it turned out okay :)

Thanks Chris! Yeah I didn't like the sunspot too much on that picture. Would have love to do it earlier in the morning, but Matson's is going to be pulling and parking trailers that way so we didn't want to get in their way.

Eventually, I'll take some more pictures like this, the guy with the S2000 also owns a WRX with the rest of his buddies.

Nice locations and cars. That van is a bit distracting in the background of the first one. Really like the side shot under the crane of the S2000.

mmm, rpf1's. nice shots! s2000 guy's rear wheels need to switch sides, the tires look to be mounted backwards haha.

Thanks! The common RPF1's on S2000's, but they look so good. Lol good eye! I didn't even notice being mounted backwards.

Thanks! Yeah, damn heating/plumbing company, saw me grabbing pictures and decides to park next to the truck instead of the side parking area. O well, can't really say anything about public parking.
