Hello everyone!! Im new to this website but am very happy to be apart of it.. I just recently purchased my favorite accord which is an 01 accord 4cyl 5spd... Ive used the search function but cant find an answer... My instrument cluster is half lit.. the dimmer switch works the milage lcd lights and dims but the gas temp and the needle to show how fast im going does not light up... only the tach lights.... ive replaced the 3 158 peanut bulbs and nothing happens just still half lit... please if anyone is having this issue or had this issue please point me in the right direction.. being that i cant see the dash i dont drive this car at night.. and also the climate control lights does light up also, all exterior lights are in working order... i have a picture of it but cant post it due to being new...

158 goes in a socket?

Check for power (test light or VOM) & connections.

Check passenger/driver side fuse boxes on each end corner of the dashboard for blown fuses. Also when did we suddenly get 158 bulbs? I've never even heard of them. Our cars' instrument cluster (for main gauges) comes with 194 and 74 wedge. As for climate control, do the same w/ fuse box and inspect the bulbs to make sure they're good.

first thing to check would be the fuses.
next, if you want to do it yourself, check the wiring connections with the instrumentation cluster. it's a matter of pressing down on two clips with a flathead screwdriver, one on each side of the casing. be careful though, they are very easy to break.
