I've been running my Raptor HID without relay harness for almost a year now without problems. But, since DDM lowered the pricing on all the HID stuff I'm probably going to pick some up along with HID for my fogs.

Whats up guys,

im a big lurker on here since i've got my accord in the summer and just ordered a 55 8k kid from ddm. how big of a mistake have i actually made? i really dont want obnoxiously bright lights on my car. lol

It won't be that bad, just aim them down a bit more than usual after you install them. You might get flashed a bit when driving or hassled by the cops.

if you dont want obnoxiously bright lights on your car, then 55watt is not what you want. 35watt wouldve been fine, aanndd would do just fine for light output. definitely better than stock. my 35watt 6k's light up better than stock, imo.

Yeah make sure you aim those lights after you install the HIDs, friend of mine in a civic got the 6k HIDs install without getting them aimed at got pulled over for it for having "Bright Lights".
