Well It wouldn't have this big things just holding heat. It's like me wearing a sweater in 100 degree heat. If I took it off I would prob be cooler. LOL jw I see a lot me cars without it on so I didn't know if it was ok.

ehh me thinks the hood will soak up the heat without it which will technically still hold heat

Leave it be. Unless you plan to completely remove the skeleton under the hood, leave it alone. A lot of Galant guys just strip the "skeleton" off the hood for weight savings, but it messes the hood up.

There's been threads on this, look em up. It doesn't really matter whether it's on or off. I guess it's a tad louder with it off, but whatevz. So yeah it's ok to take it off, as far as safety if that's your concern.

find a real mod to do... your hood blanket is not bothering anything. If you wanna COOOOL down your motor.... run a sweet turbo.... More air flow equals cooler right... hmmm, nvm about that.

Cut a hole in the hood, that'll get rid of the heat.
