amidoinitrite? I don't understand how these little things stay in place in the hood. Do they need to be glued in?

hmmm are those threaded? looks different from mine. my sparco pins had tiny threaded screws for the base? they hold surprisingly well. but those look quite different so idk lol kinda funny lookin to me.

ugh, looks like i'm making a trip to home depot in the near future to find tiny little screws :eh: These came with a generic hood pin set.

this may be common sense, but be sure and drill lil pilot holes just smaller than the screws for the threads to grab. the clearcoat will crack very easily so forcing a hole will f it up. also having masking tape down on the surface to drill through will help a lil.

if this is info you already have then.....nvm lol:thumbsup:

you need a rivet tool to use those. personally i'd rather use them as opposed to screws. unless you get tamper proof screw and the kit to remove them, it would be pretty easy for someone to remove normal screws.

imo dont put the hood pin in because the clear will crack and the screws will rust later on. it happened to me -_-

Should just go with the AeroCatch hood pins.....looks SO much better than the Sparco/NRG Hood pin....unless you go with the CF NRG ones.

just gotta be careful. mine turned out flawless. 2yrs no rust as well. but that may depend on who you buy.
