I apologize for my ignorance. I've been using forums since 2003, and I've been on here for 5-6 years, but I cannot seem to figure out how to send a user a PM?

Can anyone please advise?

Click on 'Inbox' in the top right of the site header, then click on 'Start a New Conversation'.

You simply can't because you need to have a minimum of posts of 60 or something, can't remember the exact number but this condition is totally useless. This forum have been deserted and thing like that isn't very welcoming for new members which is even more ridiculous because you aren't one...

Was that a rule change that took place recently?

I've got several conversations already in my inbox.

There's nothing there.

What about if you click on someone's user name, like in this thread? It doesn't give you the "start conversation" tab?

This function have been added with the forum update made sometime ago. Until you reach that posts fixed quota the conversation tab won't appear in your inbox and sadly there is nothing you can do about it...

Then whoever is the admin of this website is that implemented this limitation, they're getting in the way of engineers accomplishing tasks for the greater advancement of all involved in the online honda enthusiast tuning community.

Oh well.

Couldn't agree more. Some of the main important purpose of the internet and especially forums are sharing and communication and this function goes completely against this idea. We're just a bunch of enthousiast talking about cars here, no dealing drugs or whatsoever, so i see no reason to restrict people to communicate between them.
