I took my car to the mechanic this morning to do a brake flush. When I was driving home the pedal feels really squishy. The pedal goes down quite a bit. I am thinking air bubbles. I pushed the brakes about 4 times with the car off and it is rock solid.

What could it be?

There is most definitely air still in the system. Keep bleeding the brakes, they'll be fine.

unless your pads are worn out

Not in this case. Being able to pump the pedal a few times and get a bit a brake back is a classic air-in-the-system symptom. And having just had the lines flushed, its likely that there is air still in there.

Has this issue been fixed yet?
