I’m at a complete loss. Randomly turned off one day at a red light. Couldn’t get it to restart. Would crank and turn but not fire. After a few minutes it fired up. The occurrence has got progressively worse. Happened maybe once a week and now I can’t go more than 30 minutes at best. Wait 3-5 min (cool down) fires back up. Been on a goose chase. Replaced fuel pump, main relay, spark plugs/wires, and crank position sensor… still happening! Some folks said ignition but I understand that to be a civic issue and jiggle and jangle all I can the ignition shows no signs of failing. Loose connection somewhere? Well even the worst potholes and speed bumps don’t kill it. About all I can guess now is ECU or the new relay is bad. Whatever it is, it’s gotta get hot first. Could be at idle when it fails or cruising at 65mph.

310,000 miles and AC blows cold. Can’t let this gem fail…

it could be the ignition switch itself, they've been known to go bad and there was a recall for them way back when. i had the issue in my second 6g, the random stalling and difficulty starting are symptoms.

My ignition switch failed in my 98 v6. It would cut off while driving. One day it never started again

How about your fuel pressure regulator?? Maybe that's not holding pressure?

Just ordered a new ignition switch. Tricky thing is I can’t really test the current one since it’s inconsistent. That said I’ll replace later this week and report back.
