is it just me OR... does everyones rear bumper not line up properly?

ive noticed on my car and afew other cars on this site that the highest corner of the bumper , on the fender side right under the tail light always sticks out!

at first i thought "eh ill fix that when i go to put on my rear lip" but ive seen ppls cars WITH a lip kit and it STILL STICKS OUT

WDF HONDA???

any one have any ideas as to why.. or how to fix PERMANENTLY

Mine doesn't because people like to keep bumping into my freshly painted rear bumpers.

mine is like that cuz i backed in to my aunts car. no damage done except it poped out in that spot ur talking about. it only sticks out just a lil now. not real noticable.

Mine was OEM and not damaged and it had the buldge on both sides. Not sure why but never let it bother me too much

My rear bumper was replaced last spring. It has a slight bulge on both sides.

It's probably just due to how it was installed/fitted. Getting the front bumper to sit right is a PITA as well.

mine only sticks out the slightest tinyest bit.. not noticeable at all really but it drives me crazy when i wash my car n i see it up close

Mine does this too, the previous owner of my car was obviously rear ended though. You probably have some clips broken.

Mine is too. Due to it got kiss in the rear by a Ford SUV..
