i've had a lingering hatred for hollywood and its general form (also known as the Hollywood style of film making, yeah its that predictable) but now i'm fully infuriated.
As the writers strike killed divided hollywood many films were shelved and or dropped completely. As a result hollywood needed to recoup their losses by rehashing any and every possible film, but now they've gone to far.
I was a bit pissed to hear the attempt of a studio to make Akira into a live action film, which can only work to destroy the reputation and power the original animated film created but now they've decided to make a live action version of Cowboy Bebop.
but wait there's more.
who did they choose to portray spike, the multi-dimensional, incredibly troubled lead character? the only character that can never be fully defined thanks to his depth, the writing, and the story?
They got Keanu Reeves, the single most one dimensional man in all of acting. I've seen my share of films and then some, and i've never seen a worse actor get roles far above his ability, its beyond absurd.
add this movie to the dumpster along with Dragonball Z, cuz there's no way they can make it right, its already a lost cause.

lol if cowboy bebop were ever to even become live i say leave it to the Japanese
