Just bought an 01 Accord V6: Where to Start?

I've been building Civic's for 11 years now and I just got my 1st Accord and I don't know where to start. Looking for some pointers on where to start. I've come to realize the J30a is garbage. Thinking about doing a J35a4 swap just because it's cheap and easy to get. What would be my best option?

The J30a1 is a solid motor when it comes to build quality and longevity. It will run forever. But yea when it comes to performance, it's low compression and was obviously designed for economy.

When it comes to J swaps its either the J32 or J35. Spend some time searching and reading here, V6P, and J32a.

After doing some reading I'm gunna do the j35a4 swap. Does that have the single port exhaust? What does everyone do for down pipes with the single ports?

No. It does not have the exhaust manifold casted into the head.

What does everyone do for down pipes with the single ports?

We use headers.
