Time for my second members ride thread on 6ga, don't think I can ever leave this forum to tell you the truth. I use clublexus aswell but it seems like the people on here have much better personal then the peeps over there.

As of July, I have picked up a Lexus is350 Rwd in Glacier Frost Mica color which I've been searching for since new year. The color is rare around here especially for the model I wanted, it's a mixture of white, silver, and blue.

I don't plan on doing heavy mods to it, possibly just a simple OEM+ look to it with 1 finger gap all around(out of the low life scene lol).

My IS350:

Changed the filter out of the intake box lol.

Replaced DRL and Fog light bulbs with Nokya 2500k yellow.

Replaced the city light with a 168 led bulb, didn't like the look so I disable the city light and just have a nice pure Yellow DRL itself.

Changed the reverse light bulb to led

There wasn't much led bulbs to replace cause everything was already factory led.

Future mods hopefully:
Tein SA
2011+ Headlights with LED DRL upgrade
IS-F Clear Corner Tail lights
F-Sport Intake
F-Sport Exhaust
F-Sport Shift Knob
Wheel Spacers
Lip kit all around

I'm surprised how well the gas mileage is on this car especially for a 3.5L 306hp engine. I get 33mpg on hwy and roughly 26mpg for city driving.

Thank you for viewing.

Looking like a sound investment you got there buddy. Let's stay in the loop and get a Tulalip Casino meet like we talked about a while ago.

It's white! No, it's silver! Wait, it's blue white!? Lol.

Glad to see you made the MR thread, James. Knowing the way you mod your Accord, I'm sure that nothing can go wrong with this IS as well.

No more slammed? Tein SA? Welcome to the club, if that'll be the case haha.

Btw, Tein makes a couple of new models for your IS, which is "Street Flex" & "Mono Sport". They're the models that our Accords can't be compatible with; Have you ever thought of these?

Anyways, I'm glad you're enjoying the fruit of your hard searching effort.

Drive safe tho, Mr. RWD. ;)

Nice, one of my considerations for my next car but really want an F-sport in white. How many miles on it? Plans sound good, who makes good lip kits for these cars?

Have you driven it in PWR mode? How quick are the shift points? Love everything about this car, but not sure if I can settle on an auto…trans needs to be sharp if I go w/paddle shift. Been trying to get a feel for that from monkeyv6 since he also owns one of these.

RWD ftw

How are you oz, been a while since the bbq meet we had couple months ago. I'll ask Henry and Chan about it if they wanna do a cruise down to seattle to go to Tulalip and chill with you guys :).

Thanks it was bound to happen to make a thread here, I made one here and prolly don't plan on doing so on clublexus lol. I'm planning similar root like I did with the coupe, as for other Tein coilovers you mention they were kinda out of my range. Tein SA which replaced SS is my current budget, I rode in them already and they felt just as good as oem. Even the Tein Basic aren't bad either lol. As for driving safe, I'm taking it easy in the rain. Don't got the confident as I did with the coupe yet hahaha.

The car is pretty quick imo, I hardly step on the gas and the car moves already. It's obviously a big upgrade for me over the J30A1 even with good bolt ons. I noticed the gear change is quick and aggressive aswell but very smooth.

I wanted an F-Sport model aswell but they were still going for 30-40 grand used around here with low mileage(ya its pricey here). I might just do an F-Sport bumper change once my 2011+ led headlights are install with other F-Sport parts and then badge the fenders with F-Sport badges lol. I haven't tried any modes for it yet so can't really explain. Paddle shifters haven't been touch aswell either but I needa do that soon after learning how to use it properly. In miles, the car only has 60,000 miles on it when I purchased it. Was the lowest aswell and for the price range I wanted. Still learning things about the car, I was so noob on my first day test driving it. I was like wtf the steering wheel is so close to the dash??? Didn't realise until I push the start button and the Steering wheel came out and right towards me....

Had to laugh at this.......so much more advances compared to our cars, lol.

I'll probably be the same way when I get in to something much newer as well.

Enjoy the new ride, James.

Looks like it will be alot of fun, especially since it's the 350.

One of my favorite cars.

Forget the F-Sport bumper, go with the Ings+1kit

Your 6GA was one beautiful machine by the way...
