Basically I'm asking if anyone else has this problem;
When I go to unlock or lock the car it just works whenever it wants.
Sometimes it wont unlock or lock the car, then I'll walk up to the door and like a sneaky mother ****er it locks suddenly.

then other times I walk out and it works instantly.

other times it just doesn't work at all and I unlock the car with the key.

I've already replaced the battery in the key fob.

Any suggestions/past experience?

Much appreciated, thanks.

ya mine does this too tried replacing the baterry and I opened it up and checked if there was crap in it and it still doesn't work right. one little trick I figured out is if the locks won't work i'll use the trunk open button and the trunk will pop right open and then all the other buttoms work like they're supposed to.

well man sometimes didnt' lock or unlock, but as for being sneaky and locking itself that is a safety feature. just in case you lock your car and forget, it locks automatically.

Yeah, it has a 20 second delay on it. If you don't open a car door after 20 secs of unlocking it, it re-locks.

I have had the same problem sometimes too. My car will lock itself and I won't even touch the FOB....

So apparently I'm not the only one who has this.

Now if only someone knew the cause.

Did that,
I'm thinkin' maybe its the reciever.

Which is under the deck behind that little cubby hole I think.

yea maybe the receiver is going bad and therefore causing a glitch or a short somewhere
