Well Ray Ray, possible new Official 6GA owner, very nice.

It's not the '02 that had the tranny issues, and yes, that should be your first concern, since the other years had the tranny problems.

I don't think the '99 had any issues, BUT best to make sure, JIC.

I can overlook the fact that it's DEP AND a Coupe, only because it's a 6GA! :lawl:

Anyway, you definately don't want to inherit any potential headache, so for sure get that code checked out, swap out those seats for some RSX leather's, and speak to 99cfENVY/cantaffordaccord about how to "bring sexy back" with some CF goodies!

the seats are no biggie and check the bumper gaurds... when i got my car, it was clean as hell till i looked down under the bumper and it was smashed in... Car was in a front end accident... check little stuff like that because that can be problematic

Thanks for the further suggestions guys, I got the VIN to the car:

1HGCG2254XA013921

If anyone happens to have an open carfax account and could run a check for me, that'd be great. I posted it on a few other forums as well to see if anyone could help lol. Thanks in advance!

Did she ever say why it was painted? Problem with CarFax is it only works if it's been reported.

No, and I didn't ask. It was a quick 5min meeting really. And I'm telling you, if it weren't for me being there... no one would have known it was repainted. I've been told I have "the eye" for that kind of stuff and I could notice some VERY slight waves in the body lines when I looked closely at the paint from an angle. Nothing noticeable to the average person at all. The body lines on all the panels were perfect and the paint was very smooth, the inner door sills were also DEP which lead me to believe that was the original color, even if it was repainted at one point.

If you go back to look at it check the seam sealer on the bay & inside the trunk.

yea just lift the trunk liner and check the seams...and look around the shock towers...also there should be stickers with the vin on the fenders and tons of other parts....
