Hey all,
So yesterday the V6 was way hard to get into any gear above 1st/2nd, and I've been having to hold the throttle wide open to get it to shift.
It's thrown both the P1078 and P1106. Since the latter is an intake code, and considering I have a DIY short ram, I disassembled it and cleaned everything/checked for leaks. I also swapped the filter for an unused one that I had lying around. No luck.
As for the P1078, I can't find much on it, even in the shop manual. I did remove the cruise a day or two before but didn't remove the vacuum canister. I did plug the vacuum hose though.
I did the proper reset procedure for the 1106 and checked all the other vaccum lines, still no luck.
I'm not sure if either of those things have anything to do with it, but I need to be able to drive this baby w/o messing up the tranny (the shifts are ROUGH).
