Make koni drop some more?

Hello guys,

My car is dropped on Koni yellow and spint springs -2.25"
Now, what can I do to drop the front some more (lets say 1/2 inch)?
I don't want to cut the springs bc I heard some bad things about that!
Any suggestions?

How it is now: the front is on its lowest, the back can be dropped an inch more

you can't make springs drop more. you can buy new springs or buy adjustable springs.

or you can put dumb-bells in the engine bay to weigh it down....j/k

don't koni yellows have 3 perch points that can let you adjust how low you want it?

No, they have 2 perch settings. I also heard they had 3 settings but they don't.
Can a machine shop make an extra perch for the front shocks?
Or maybe hit that center thingie off and put the strut deeper in the fork?

I just don't wan't the cars *** to be the lowest!

well if the fork goes lower it could interfere with your axle...it would be cheaper to just get a set of omnis or ksports before redoing any other parts....

I just recently bought these and waited several months for my springs so I guess these will do.

I don't get it, there is enough room between the axle and the top of the fork.
The Koni's will never be compressed that much, or my wheels would be sticking through the fenders

if you got a skilled machine shop you could try shortening the steering knuckle so the a-arm sits lower...this would also keep you from bottoming out as much....

nope - i had the 2-way adjustable konis and you can only adjust at where the rings are. the shock itself cannot be modified that way...your options would be to

1. cut springs
2. get new springs
3. get coilovers

If there's no solution to lower the front, I might get 215x35x18 tires in the front and 225x40x18 in the back.

Is that what bottoms out in the front all the time? the control arm?
I thought it was my spring compressing to capacity or that my shock was going to blow out.
