I was curious how many, if any people on the forum play an instrument aside from listening to music?

I play a 5 string ibanez sound gear with mk1's.

I also play guitar, Takamine is a good acoustic! I stopped playing seriously for a couple years and got a call to play in a trio this saturday. So I have been cramming different songs for the last couple day's.

^that's awesome, I always wanted to play in a band.

My mom started me on piano when I was 6, played for maybe 8 years. Picked up clarinet in 4th grade, played for maybe 5 years. Then picked up guitar my freshman year of highschool and still play today, albeit not as much. I took 4 years of lessons and I hate that I have forgotten so much. Use to jam with a friend, switching between guitar and drumset. Drumsets are so fun.

btw I play a Parker Nightfly and Mesa-Boogie amp. My acoustic is a Guild.

I play guitar pretty often. Mostly acoustic, I have a 1974 Yamaha FG-340 that plays like a dream I also have a custom strat style electric that a buddy of mine built me, I play it through a Digitech RP-150 multi-effects pedal and a RMS 40 watt amp.
