I played alto sax in jazz band and everything when I was in grade school. I quit when we got a new music teacher I didn't like. Dumb move.



I really want to learn how to play guitar. Contemplating taking lessons.

i wish i played trombone instead, sax is cool and all but outside of jazz band it gets the worst parts (like french horn parts)

my buddies and I are trying to make some music and have some jam session, definitely bringing the sax and going to mess with some distortion pedals and other things, should be fun

Sweet, I miss jamming. Only get to nowadays when my buddy and I go to Guitar Center and sit in the acoustic room for a couple hours. Love the feel of a $6k Martin or Taylor. Lol

I play guitar , mainly electric. I have a fender stratocaster and an fender frontman 15g amp.
Here in a couple months I am ordering my Gibson les paul!!! And I'm gonna buy a marshal cabinet and amp.

Also I was wondering what style of music do you guys play ?

I started playing music in 3rd grade. I play clarinet up until the end of high school. In college, I took some basic piano and a few music theory classes. I started making my own music in college, progressed to making hip hop beats.

I have been producing/beatmaking for 8 years. I play the keyboard and digital samplers. I am computer based now but own some older samplers like an ASR 10, Akai S2000 rack, and a newer MPC 1000. I used to collect vintage hip hop gear, mostly buy and sell but nobody has money.

Good to see other musicians on here.
