You are running smaller subframe spacers now, or none at all?

Did you go the full inch as you originally said you were doing?

Car is still at shop. Initially, we were running machined 5/8" spacers like yourself, but there was some slight vibration only noticeable under acceleration, which disappeared once the spacers were removed. I am wondering if this is the reason Derek's guy didn't want to lower the subframe when he did his swap ...???

Hmm weird. Haven't had anything like that since I swapped nearly 3 years ago. Maybe the bolts were not torqued correctly?

What all is needed to fit the J37 IM btw? And do you know what the inlet size is? I just installed a V2 intake, and concluded that the J30 TB is 2.5" and the J32 TB is 3".

lol at spacing the subframe. 09 tl shawd intake mani and your goodie. make sure you get the right bolts because the lengths are different and id recommend the p2r gaskets for the intake mani and tb. remember you ned the adapter for the dbc tb (Also get that from p2r) also if i was you id switch to a 76mm tb from blox. your going to need an adapter for the throttle cable though since the b series has a different setup. just out of curiosity are you the one that texted me today? thats the only reason why I'm on here.

heres what you need.

Manifold part# 17160-RK2-A00 from Acura
Manifold cover part # 17116-R70-A00 from Honda
P2R adapter part# P383B= (Black), P383R= (Red), P383= (Silver)
P2R gasket part# P141
P2R gasket part# P149
That is all the part #'s for the parts that you will need to make the 09 TL awd manifold to work.
You will need qty of 9 bolts size 8mmx65mm with 1.25 pitch.
For the manifold gasket i can't find the part number but just call them. They have awesome customer service.

"No spacers for you".....lol...that sucks, but at least you have a good option to go with.

Let me know if it will be Friday for sure, so I can make sure to bring the wheels with me.

I was considering the J37 IM option as well, but with the custom TB setup, it was better to use the J35 one.

Ha Ha ... I wonder how many younger people are going to get this reference ??? Doesn't matter, I liked it :)

Do you know the inlet diameter for the J35 and J37? If the J37 has a bigger inlet than I think it would work better if you're going to slap on that massive 90mm TB, since it'll be a smaller bottleneck ???

We can measure once my car is finally, finally, home.

I know, most of the guys in their teens on here, probably won't get it.

The J35 is 67-69mm, IIRC, the J37, MAY be slightly bigger, but I don't know for sure.

Because of the custom work to be done on the J35 IM, the inlet size won't be much of a factor.

I haven't confirmed the details of what will be done, but very likely that Paul will widen the inlet to match better with the 90mm TB.

3.7 inlet is 80mm. thats why i picked a 76mm tb. honestly, its overkill but w.e you can only flow so much with those heads. I'm building another j series over the summer, j35a3 sitting in the back of my garage. I'm in the middle of a s15 sr20det engine build and a couple of 4g63s. Just got my all motor 5 speed 302 95 mustang street car into the 9s ;) so I've been a little overdue for another honda build. if you need any help with your engine build/suspension/ect you have my number.
