Well it is almost here. Like most years I look to this season with high hopes. I think the Vols should have an incredible offense, but who knows what will happen with our lack of a leader at QB. Anybody else counting down the days? I love the fall time. Anyways here are the preseason rankings (I hate that they do this, it really hurts the teams that do not start top 10) 1 LSU 2 Alabama 3 USC 4 Oklahoma 5 Oregon 6 Georgia 7 Florida State 8 Michigan 9 South Carolina 10 Arkansas 11 West Virginia 12 Wisconsin 13 Michigan State 14 Clemson 15 Texas 16 Nebraska 17 TCU 18 Stanford 19 Oklahoma State 20 Virginia Tech 21 Kansas State 22 Boise State 23 Florida 24 Notre Dame 25 Auburn SEC representing strong again with 5 in the top 10. The real UT have a much more desirable schedule this year since we do not have to play 4 top 10 teams within a month. Aug 31 is getting closer!!!! Georgia Dome here we come Highlighted games for the first weekend: Thursday Aug 30 7:00 PM ET South Carolina at Vanderbilt Friday Aug 31 7:30 PM ET Tennessee vs. North Carolina State 8:00 PM ET Boise State at Michigan State Sat Sept 1 9:00 AM ET Notre Dame vs. Navy in Ireland 7:00 PM ET Clemson vs. Auburn 8:00 PM ET Michigan vs. Alabama Mon Sept 3 8:00 PM ET Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech
I'm okay being at 11...but switching conferences with an unknown and newly installed defensive scheme is somewhat worrisome. Our offense should be unstoppable though. Can't wait until it's finally here!!
But... Where's Virginia? I'll just be happy if we can do as well or better than last season. I want to be able to go to another bowl game
Is that a happy wtf or a disappointed? I was under the impression that there was not much expected from UF this year compared to the past
West Virginia is about to face a caliber of competition that they have never seen before. I wouldn't be surprised if they finish outside of the top 25. Well, my dreams of a national championship or big ten championship went down the tubes about a week and a half ago lol. See ya in 4 years folks
I'm expecting to see great things this year from the Penn State football progr-HAHAHAHA ahhhh couldn't say that with a straight face. Go bucks.
PSU will win 7 or 8 games this year and then hang around the 6 win mark over the next 3. I'm not sure the penalties were as big of a death sentence as I initially thought. I think you will have some very good players commit to PSU who want to see the program brought back to what it once was.
