I told ya that WVU folks would be in for a rude awakening when they joined the Big 12. Same thing will happen for Rutgers when it joins the Big 10. Penn State finished 8-4. Great season considering. Should have been 10-2 if it weren't for those two terrible losses in the beginning of the season where they had the lead in the 4th quarter of both and lost
O'Brien deserves Coach of the Year, what he did with that team is just amazing. Everything they went through, the amount of star quality they lost to transfers, they showed a lot of resilience this season. I'm very impressed with them. As for WVU, I didn't think our defense would play this bad. I mean at times it was pathetic. I believe that led to our offense trying to overcompensate which led to more mistakes, which was inevitably our downfall. Hopefully with some experience our defense will fare much better next year. But, we lose so much on offense that it's going to be interesting. Regardless of how they do though, I'll still root for them.
I guess my cats didn't do terrible this season. Too bad Baylor spoiled our National Championship dreams...
