they'll take a good 160 for a couple minutes before things get smelly

the ctx doesn't like anything over 120. the tweets are the weak link

careful with the gains, careful with the volume knob...you could run 500w per side.

...not that they would ever see 500w unless you run 0dB test tracks all the time :lawl:

what about boston sx60s? 65rms.. =X I might try and run them on seperate channels. 150 per side. Let's see how they hold up...

pioneer prs comps can take abuse

from what i noticed, lower end comps can take way more abuse than higher end comps.

haha i walked outside and took a look at my amp settings and realized my highs were crossed over at 130hz... WHOOPSIE! I cranked it back down to about 85 and VOILA! more mid bass! lol Sounds much fuller now.

I got the JL 300/2 for $100 bucks from my cousin. So I cant complain.. lol I had a 300/4 but one of he channels burnt out on me.

I was too scared to put 150 rms to those things after reading reviews on them not being able to handle alot of power.
