New Car soon

I'll be in the market for a new car soon. In a month or two.

I have two cars in mind. 2005-2008 Acura TL (base or type-s) or 2006-2007 Honda Accord Sedan EX V6.

I can't make up my mind. I would the Accord because it's cheaper by a good $3,000-$5,000.

What are the main differences between the two? (Besides engine)

Do 7th gen accords and TLs have auto tranny problems?

My dad has a 04' TL with the 5AT and he likes it. He has no tranny problems at all and his car has 111k on the odo and it still runs like a champ. I'd prefer the TL if you can find one for a good price you get a bit more luxury and im not a big fan of the 7th gen accord's interior.

i personally would go with the TL, looks alot better and holds a higher resale than the accord... and i have the 07 accord, i am impressed by it but after driving it a few times, there is no MAJOR difference from the 6th gen. i mean that as in totally new car but same feel all around...

at least thats how it is for me

2003 7th gens have the same autotragic issues... they fixed it in 2004 onwards...
