Having an issue with the center vents on my 2002 Accord EX V6. I have done several searches and have found no answers, so sorry if I have overlooked the right thread. So my issue is pretty simple. Air does not flow out of the center vents, but does blast out of the floor vents no matter what setting it is on. Any ideas anyone? This happens with AC, but I haven't tried with heat.

Thank you

Does it move at all?

Look under the passenger dash. Look for motor/actuators.

I ended up looking on the driver's side and saw a few linkages on the blend motor move on a different accord that was irking ok. I wiggled them on the accord that had the issue and that seemed to free them up. Thanks for the help.

Yup, have someone else press the mode button that changes the air flow through the vents and you'll see those linkages move on the drivers side. They were stuck in one car and not the other, so it made it really easy to see what was wrong. I've never had a "fix" this easy before. I guess I will wait for the day when it actually fails and I have to replace it.
