Ok so I did search and got lots of info but I want to verify. So please hold the noob comments. BTW I am not a complete noob I did do a 5 speed swap and got everything to work ie vtec and speedo on the first try. So anyway I have been trying to figure out the obd1 vs obd2 motor swap issues. I have to stay OBD2 due to emmisions testing, they plug into your OBD2 port and thats it in Oregon. So I know that obd2 isn't as easy to program as obd1 but that issue aside what is the difference between an obd1 and obd2 motor? I have read about injectors, distributor and alternator being different? If so how, could you just change the plugs? Looking into doing a swap and want some more info first.
