O.K. I have the OBX racing pulley kit sitting in my trunk. I was told that I shouldn't install a pulley kit because I have a sound system and I might damage my alternator. How true is this? If this is true, then I'll sell the pulley kit.
Here's my system specs.
- Pioneer DEH-P3600 head unit (50 watts X 4)
- 2 Pioneer TS-A1680R 6 ½ speakers in front doors (220 watts each)
- 2 Pioneer TA-A6970R 6 X 9 speakers on back panel (240 watts each)
- 1 Pioneer GM-X374 amp (400 watts, 4 channel)
- 1 Pioneer GM-5000T amp (760 watts, 2 channel)
- 2 Pioneer TS-W250R subs (500 watts each) in a box
- 1 Rockford Fosgate digital 1 farad capacitor (handles 1000 watts)
Pics of the pulleys.
