I found a great site for those of you looking to purchase an OEM remote to work with the stock system in our 6th gens. When i bought mine, the guy had lost the remote so after several weeks of unlocking by hand, i decided i was too lazy and wanted a remote. After some research i found keylessremotesonline.com and they seem to have the best prices for new OEM remotes. I also found a discount code on another site, so i got 20% right away :D. Just thought id pass that on to anyone whos looking.

Heres the link for the Honda remotes:

The discount code is 20OFF, just enter it at checkout

Really? cus on ebay you can get em for like 25, whereas that site is 43.95... just sayin you might wanna look for a little while longer before deciding who's cheapest for remotes.

Just to extend the thread, I bought one awhile ago but the programing instructions were garbage. Is there a thread on 6ga that's got it, or does ne1 know the instructions? good lookin out in advance

I bought one off ebay two years ago, used. This isn't a bad price for new considering it's from a more reliable source. Anyway here are the instructions I used to program mine:

Took me a couple tries. Btw check Blacknight's stickied thread in the Car For Sale Classified section about remote batteries if you need one.

the only remotes I had found on eBay for that price were either used or refurbished, so I still think that's a good price for a NEW remote

well I recieved my remote today an while it works great, the casing does have scratches that must mean it's refurbished. oh well, while it's not new the transaction was clean, it's still in good condition, and the instructions were clear and easy. I'm satisfied with my purchase but you might want to just get an eBay one...
