just got my XTi in this morning, rocking the 18-55mm lens that it came with...probably will continue do so for a little while till i buy a new one

^i totally agree. after aquiring my xti back in late march, i've already spent around $2g's on two lenses and some other accessories. so my arsenal consists of the following:

Canon 400D/XTi
Canon EF-S 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 w/Canon UV Haze Filter and Hoya CPL Filter
Canon EF 70-200mm F/4L IS w/Hoya UV Haze/CPL/and Warming Filter kit.
Canon EF 17-40mm F/4L
BogenManfrotto 3021 Tripod w/Manfrotto ballhead
BG-E3 grip
Canon RS60-E3 shutter release switch
Lowerpro bag to carry all my gear.

next on my list, i'm not sure. need to save up before i can make anymore purchases for my camera. i do have an even wider lense(either a Sigma 10-20mm or the Canon EF-S 10-22mm), Canon EF 24-70 F/2.8L, and 50 F/1.8 or F/1.4 on a wishlist.
