1. August Rush 2. 4 out of 5 3. Freddie Highmore, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers 4. A story about and orphan who uses his musical talent to find his parents, neither of which know he is alive. If you enjoy music, there is a lot of great music in the movie in my opinion. 5. Yes I'd watch it again....actually its on right now.
1. Inglourious Basterds 2. 4.5 out of 5 3. Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, B.J. Novak 4. A group of Jewish Americans that go behind enemy lines during WWII to fight the Nazi through ruthless, vicious and terror based tactics. Directed by Quentin Tarantino this is not a historical movie, but rather one that uses the context of WWII in Nazi occupied France as a backdrop. 5. Already making plans to see it again, so awesome, the best film I've seen all year, hands down.
1) Clash of the Titans 2) solid 4 out of 5: only because I couldn't watch it in 3d then would have been 5 stars 3) Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Flemyng, and others... 4) The mortal son of the god Zeus embarks on a perilous journey to stop the underworld and its minions from spreading their evil to Earth as well as the heavens. 5) Yes I would see again if I ever get one of those 3d tv's that would be freakin sweet lol
1. Prince of Persia 2. 4/5 3. Jake Gyllenhaal (so hot), Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley 4. Set in the mystical lands of Persia, a rogue prince and a mysterious princess race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time -- a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world ( stole from imdb hah) 5. Would definitely watch again. Although some of the cinematography was a bit chopped and screwed IMO, as if they had to much and had to shorten it quickly lol. There was a lot of action, some twists and turns here and there, and overall it was definitely entertaining
1)The Eagle 2) 3 3)channing tatum 4) a roman legionaire tries the restore his fathers name in northern england 5) surprisingly a good movie, i expected an ok movie but it was a pretty good script, acting, setting, ect Worth the rental 1) the rite 2) 2 3) anthony hopkins 4) priests and devils....and one hot chick 5) very disappointed. after all that hype for it and Hopkins, i was expecting a better movie pirate it 1) devil 2) 2 3) none 4) bad things happen to bad people 5) bad acting, predictable plot but an interesting plot skip it
1)Drive 2)4.5/5 3)Ryan Gossling, Brian Cranston, Ron Pearlman, Mel Brooks 4)A stunt driver/part time get-away driver gets involved in a heist that goes sour. 5)I would gladly watch this again. Perfect mix of classic stylized filming, exceptional acting and just the right amount of ultra-violence mixed in. Less about the cars and more about the plot but the story is done so well its hard to complain. __________________
1) Laugh at my Pain 2)5 3)Kevin Hart 4)Comedy about his life 5)Hilarious would watch over and over again
1)Buried 2)4 3)Ryan Reynolds 4)Buried alive with special tools to help him survive 5)Movie is very suspenseful, but no, I wouldn't watch it again...Why? I cant tell why without giving away 90% of the movie.
1) Moneyball 2) 4/5 3) Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill 4) Great movie. Covers the how the use of detailed stats began to change the game. Very approachable for non-baseball fans too (so says my wife). I loved it, great story, great acting and lots of references for baseball fans. 5) Highly recommend, one of the better movies of the year.
1) Senna 2) 4.5/5 3) Ayrton Senna 4) Easily one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Tells one of the most incredible stories in racing history with an exceptional level of fluidity and precision. Took a friend who knew nothing about Senna and he was thoroughly moved by the story. 5) I would recommend it to any and everyone. A benchmark for documentaries and storytelling.
