Out and about. My venture into Av mode. **HUGE Pictures**

First time really shooting in Av mode and I'm pleased with the pictures. Most of these were shot with my 55-250 IS but I think one or two were from the nifty fifty (50mm f/1.8) Anyway, enjoy!

Re-shot this one after Ryan's advice to use a lower F-Stop, came out much better.

How many birds do you see?

i see a junco and the back end of a...chickadee?

i can also tell which one is a 50 shot without even looking at the exif

There is 3 birds in that shot that I can see, might be another lol

As for the 50 shot yeah it's easy to tell from the bokeh

Thanks, and yeah I try to get out daily and snap shots. The best way to learn and of course get better is to actually get out and take photos. Come summer time you guys will get tired of me posting lol. But oh well I love it, it's a great hobby and I get a lot of enjoyment from it.

I really like #2, I like shooting odd-ball things. I guess you can say I think outside of the box when I shoot. I pretty much shoot what I think would make a cool photograph, regardless of what it is.

^^haha i don't think i will get tired of all the threads..hopefully i will have more time to go out and take pictures...sucks though..i have homework all the time..just spent the last 2 hours of my day doing a group project..then the 3 hours before that doing spanish homework..ugh
