Wow........this ought to be interesting, especially since we have seen what rims can look like that have been plastidipped.

Definately keep this thread updated with the process and end result pics.

I am sure most people won't recommend it, but it's your ride.

I spotted a flat orange Jetta here the other day, and it looked like it may have been bedliner or plastidip as well. Looked good, so, it may have just been flat paint.

Well, if it's worth the try on his S4.... worth the try on my accord! and it just peels off if you make a mistake!
I'm iffy about it that's why i suggested my friend with his 240. Since it needs paint badly. Depending on how his turn out I'll try mine.

They need to make a gloss clear version of Plasti Dip. That would be an awesome alternative to the common "tape up" before a long trip/cruise.

im still against it. if i did it, it would only be the roof and trunk since thats got the sun damage :lawl:. but he just rubs the tails and headlights to peel it off, what if someone rubs it and peels off a [most likely penis shaped] chunk of plastidip off the car?

They do -___- hahaha. They make clear coat Plastidip to make the flat black glossy lol
