Its about that time to replace my power steering pump. Any quick suggests on whether to get one from Honda OEM one for 549. + core. Or play it cheap with an auto zone aftermarket band? I found a place that rebuilds power steering pumps also, not really sure about that. Let me know please

Just get one from a junkyard. I paid $45 and it came with a year warranty.

I'd personally go with oem, but that price doesn't sound like I'd wanna spend on ps pump. If that's a dealers price, I'm sure you can find it cheaper. Sometimes you find oem honda stuff on eBay,just b careful. On other hand, autozone offers great warranties, some lifetime, but they won't compensate the labor

You should def be paying < $200 for a new PS pump.

Whats wrong with your current pump? If its just leaking then buy the gaskets/seals for $20 and change them out.
