Problem with Throttle Body

Hi guys,

I recently had my auto swapped out for 5 speed.
The mechanic said he couldn't find a 2000 ECU for me so he used a 2002 instead. I was wondering if the following problem is related to it.

For some reason, I can rev my car pass red-line now o_O

The problem is, I hear this constant noise coming from the throttle body.
When I rev it lightly, the noise comes on for about 3-5 seconds. It sounds kinda like air going through a slightly opened metal tube.

As the noise go away I hear something like a cap slowly seizes the leak of air and the system comes to a vacuum.

Sorry I sound like an idiot....but I really don't know how to better describe it o_O

If it sounds like a high pitched whistle, its probably a vacuum leak. As for the redline issue, it probably has something to do with the ECU.
