Hey guys, I haven't been on here in mad long because my school and and stuff. But today my mom was waiting to make a left turn onto my street and then a pickup truck demolished into the back of her car. No injuries to anyone thank god, but I loved that car and it is most likely going to be totaled.

damn, but if it's a 07 it might not be totaled. Friend has an 07 and she's been hit like that and it wasn't considered totaled.

Wow. Glad to hear no one got hurt.

The car itself is definitely repairable, so it's not totalled from a mechanical standpoint.

The insurance company might declare it a total loss if the cost to fix the car exceeds a certain percentage of it's inherent value. It differs by company though, as some companies declare a car a total loss at 60% cost of value to repair, and some a high as 80-90%.

Even if it's declared a total insurance loss, you can still do a buyback and fix the car yourself.

The crazy thing is that it almost seems like the "big bad" F150 or 250 took it worse than the ole accord!

Show that one to all those truck drivers out there who are so cocky sayin, don't mess with me, "I"ll win that battle"

A little claybar and some carnuba wax, that should buff right out.

Seriously though, glad to hear no one got hurt. Seems to have been alot of accidents lately, myself included. Regardless, it's always good that people have been able to walk away injury-free.
