One of my co-workers just loose a son today as the result of a tragic traffic accident. I don't know well how it was but ppl here said that he crashed into a 18" wheeler on the I-75 heading Fort Myers. He did not had the security belt on and he flew out of the car.He was only 25 years old. I want to tell those of you out there that drives without it, to stop doing it and put your security belt it might save your life. Think abt it.

He just left a 3 year old and a7month old daughters.

RIP.

Not to be an *** or anything but, do these type of threads really need to be posted? I mean it's sad and tragic but it's your co-workers son..I could understand if it was a relative or some really good friend of yours...

The main point is that young ppl like you and I are loosing their lives because they don't wear the security belt, not only that but driving at high speed, street racing, yeah is my co-worker's son today but it could be any of us tomorrow. Thats why when you get in your car you must think in these stuff and make conciense that you are vulnerable and drive safely. Thats the main point so don't be so cold, I did this thread because it must be hard to loose a son, I feel so bad for her.

I'm not being cold just truthful..I mean people die every day in car accidents..might as well make a thread on them too and use it as an example. I just don't think threads like this should be posted.

I know ppl die every day but you don't know all those ppl plus it toched my feelings cuz is someone you know. Well lets leave our personal opinions aside and stick to the point of the thread. I respect your opinions that it shouldn't be posted but I don't agree with you thats why I felt like it and I made it.

even at my job when my customers leave and say goodbye, i tell them "drive safely"

i think as car enthusiast we can all appriciate that a car is a pretty dangerous piece of equipment. i never start my car unless everyone in my car is wearing their seatbelt. and i bitch when i'm in a car where the driver isn't wearing their seatbelt.
it's like going out with no underwear when i don't put on a seatbelt.

so yes. i agree, drive safely, wear a seatbelt.

i am sure you guys have heard me do stupid **** in my car, but i don't condone it.

so again. drive safely, seatbelt always.
