I am hoping someone has had this problem and knows how to cure it. I have a 2001 accord coupe. I fixed up the car and have had it on the road a few days but now the radio and cigarette lighter won't work. The radio has the security lite that blinks but won't come on. I have check the fuse on pass side fuse box, it's ok. I am leaving out of state and need these to work for the trip. Any help will be appreciated.

On the radio you should be able to press the volume knob in and then punch in the security code. It wont even do that?

Did you or someone else mess with the wiring? Are you sure the connector is plugged in on the back of the cig lighter?

I would personally get a test light or a multimeter and with the car check every single side of every fuse to see whats blow. I find it odd that you don't have a blown fuse. Maybe another one is blown too or even though it doesn't appear to be, it really is.

The radio in my friend's mom's Odyssey did the same thing. They ended up getting a new OEM radio, but that didn't fix it. It turned out there was a second fuse for the radio that was blown.
