Has anyone ever swapped the trunk release latches from mechanical, to the remote release one (with the servo)?
http://6thgenaccord.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=405&d=1380665066 looking at this wiring diagram it seems possible, and the guy who installed my remote start said that if I picked up the latch and ran the trunk popper wires to the multiplex (he said that there were 2 spots for it on the plug) it would work.
Just wondering if anyone has done this, and how hard was it. (I did just consider finding a wiring harness for a trunk that already had the plug for the automatic release, but my understand is that it's wired in to the harness for all the lights, so it would be quite a bit to swap.
