Is it possible to remove the tranny with jacks?
I plan separating the tranny from the engine so I can scrap the car.

You won't find a DIY for that. Because usually that's something you either know/can figure out, or you don't/can't.

Okay, now i just need a diy for removing the tranny

It's not much of a DIY thing. Removing it with just jacks might be a bit hard though. I wouldn't want the weight of the tranny on my chest when trying to bear hug it out.

To remove it I would see the need to drain the transmission, remove axles, remove all wiring connectors etc, remove/disconnect coolant hoses to radiator, remove gear selector linkage, remove mating bolts that mount transmission to engine.

Prior to any of the above i'd spray all the nuts/bolts with some penetrating lubricant so you do not have striped/rounded heads when you do this.

Oh i see, I thought there's the right way and the wrong way of taking it out. I'm reading through the service manual now.. i thought we would have a diy for it here ^^

That thing is dead weight, at least 150-175lbs. 001 is right though, hit the bolts with penetrant and then start disconnecting everything attached to it. Not sure whether lifting it out or dropping it is easier. Of course if you lift it you need a hoist (which you can rent) and you would have to take out the battery, tray, intake, etc. I think lifting is safer though if you have the right tools. If you drop it out, take your time and be very careful, especially with jacks since the housing isn't completely flat anywhere. I forget how many bolts there are holding the bellhousing to the block, but there are several.

And be careful taking out the tq converter if you're doing that. It can make a big mess.

i just removed my auto tranny(well motor and tranny) last week, but if you want to take out just tranny its not too difficult. if i were you id just take out the motor and tranny together.
Them OEM shop manual for the v6 says to drop it out, ill go through the steps but out the top isnt too difficult

1st- drain the tranny fluid

2nd- disconnect shift linkage under tranny(while youre already down there)

3rd- remove both axles and intermediate shaft(3 bolts for intermediate, very easy)

4th- unplug all connectors on tranny and trans oil cooling lines

5th- remove black access panel for torque converter/ flex plate(like a flywheel), then remove the 8 small bolts holding the two together(you gotta spin the crank to get to them all)

6th- unbolt trany mounts from subframe

here's the decision part, now you can put a cherry picker on the motor to hold it, drop the front subframe(only 6 bolts and some lines) then take out the 7 bolts holding the tranny to the motor and lower it out with a jack.

or attach the cherry picker to the tranny only and make sure youve removed enough stuff from the engine bay(which might be a lot(battery tray, intake, maybe thermostat housing, not completely sure) then remove 7 bolts and hoist it out.
Either way you split it, watch out for the torque converter falling out when you split the two.
And at this point its almost easier to drop the motor+tranny out together, much easier to split the two out of the car.
Cherry picker can be supplemented with jacks or jack stands under the motor and tranny but much easier and safer with crain/picker
hope this helps
